Yes, although we just missed out on promotion this season in the league campaign and in the playoffs it’s clear to see we have progressed once again from the previous season. More points than last year, we’re scoring more and conceding less so it’s looking positive.
The club is definitely progressing and moving in the right direction. Over the years we’ve acquired great people who are now involved with us and we all share the same realistic vision of what we’re trying to achieve. The ground is constantly being worked on as seen by visitors as well as the pitch which improves every year thanks to the effort of the people at the club.
It’ll be the same as last season… Play aggressive and positive football which has been what we’ve said since we’ve started. We will always go out to win games of football and we’ll try to win as many as possible which will hopefully be more than this season. We have to try our hardest and see where it takes us which I’m sure if the boys do, we’ll do very well again.
Not bad, had good spells and bad. I was trying to focus on getting on the ball deeper so I could create more, so getting that many goals was a bonus and it should have been more! But overall I’m happy considering I’ve been playing through an injury for 2 seasons now.
Most memorable moment was probably the Shefford game at Christmas. My Nan died the night before but I still played and scored a last minute free kick, which at the time was a really important goal.
We need to use the pain of losing in the playoffs and channel it into positive energy. Some really young lads who were playing their first season in men’s football, that experience alone should put us in good stead for next season.
A mixed campaign for the reserves, that included a win over the eventual champions.

We had lots of ups and downs but over the season we brought in some younger players to help improve us and make the squad stronger with a number of them making the step up to the First Team and that is what Reserve football is there to do so yes it was a positive season and hopefully next season we can push on even more.
Over the season we had a younger age than what we have had over the years me and Vincent have been doing the Reserves so we are definitely going in the right direction. We field 5 or 6 players each week that are 18 and below with a couple being 16 so lots more to come from them being there first season in men’s football.
One thing I learned is that Liam Murphy’s hair line was really bad and he needs to let go. Think he has on his Christmas list a trip to turkey. On a serious note I would say yes lots but we are learning from 2 of the best in non league in Tel and Glyn but at the same time developing my own style.
